Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe blend is a mix of Similkameen Valley and Osoyoos fruit: 68/23/3/6 syrah, malbec, merlot and petit verdot. The nose is opened with a candied blueberry aroma flecked with a bit of leather and meat. The attack is linear with ripe cherry/blueberry fruit sitting over some lean tannins and smoky toasted oak notes in the finish. We like the acidity although it borders on the edge of stark.
