Chateau D'Angles Classique Rosé La Clape 2011
La Clape, Coteaux du Languedoc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceMourvèdre, syrah and grenache, 80/10/10 at low yields reveal a surprisingly soft and plush style rosé. The mourvèdre is directly pressed the syrah and grenache are bled out and it is all stirred on the fine lees in concrete vats for three months. Love the pink flamingo colour but like the flavours even more. A complex mix of exotic fruit and fresh cherries on the nose and palate. Dry with just a hint of sweetness. A warm night and a beautiful meal would complete this effort perfectly.Tasted: 04 January 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml |
