C.C. Jentsch Viognier 2012

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI love it when a new producer releases a fresh, clean solid version of a varietal wine that reflects the grape and the climate in this case a viognier made by C.C. Jentsch that's pronounced Yen-tsch not Jentsch. Suitably round and rich with freshness aromatics, acidity, minerality and tropical fruit flavours. It's a touch warm but that won't bother most drinkers. Try it with pork or chicken with a fruity sauce. Pricey but well done.Tasted: 01 January 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
