Rich, full, round, concentrated but fresh palate with some fine tannins and good acidity, Baked raisin pie, coffee pudding, cedar, tobacco, liquorice root, stewed game, peppery, orange peel flavours with some leafy, tea notes. Big warm and chewy finish but good fruit and intensity.
