Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainThis wine is mostly sauvignon blanc that is partially fermented and aged in new American oak with a dash of parellada. The Fransola Vineyard is located in the Upper Penedès region some 550 metres above sea level on red calcareous soils. Look for ripe exotic floral fruit aromas with hints of vanilla mint and green figs. The palate is full with fine acidity, bright passion fruit flavours that persist.
