Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainMas Petit is an 80/20 blend of cabernet sauvignon and garnatxa grown at Finca Parés Baltà, 230 m. (cabernet sauvignon) and Finca Cal Miret, 315 m. (garnatxa). The nose has hint of smoke and toast but with much better fruit these days and less oak. The attack is supple with spicy, olive, cassis, and garrigue notes. A fresher red fruit style. We suggest you pair a whole roasted chicken for best results. Drink now or over the next three to five years.
