Morlanda Vi de Guarda 2010
Priorato, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainThe latest from Morlanda points to why syrah and cabernet sauvignon should come out of Priorat blends. Love the savoury, dried fruits and floral/violet tones. The attack is fresh and red fruit dominated with cherries and mulberries with bits of coffee, dark chocolate, cedar and dried herbs. Complex mouth filling fresh and long this is a compelling bottle of red wine. Will age gracefully for a decade and beyond. Try this with grilled lamb or beef.Tasted: 07 December 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $45.00 | 750ml | srp |
