Champagne Krug Vintage 2000
Champagne, FranceThe Millennium Krug is more advanced than the 1998. Broader richer fuller with big aromatic notes of pear toasted almonds and oyster liqueur. More mineral in the mouth with brightness and acidity mixed with caramel, nougat and salt. Complex to say the least but there is an approachable side to this wine that may tune out to peak earlier than most editions.
