Domaine Serres Mazard Cuvée Henri Serres 2008

Corbières, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceMuch like the previous version the '08 opens with a smoky savoury black liquorice nose with meaty, black cherry aromas. The palate is full and rich with dry, savoury, minty black olive, meaty, garrigue, black cherry flavours. Good weight and balance but this will need some time in bottle, say two to four years, or serve it now with a hearty stews, beef, lamb or venison.Tasted: 22 December 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices: BC 22.00 specialty listing Producer: Val d'OrbieuDistributors: The Bacchus Group Inc.
