Wolf Blass Gold Label Riesling 2011
South Australia, AustraliaThe 2011 GL Riesling breakdown is 65 Clare Valley fruit versus 35 Eden Valley mixing lime and minerals respectively. A cooler year delayed maturation allowing the fruit to evolve slowly the way it would in Germany. Finished under screwcap its fresh lemon lime, slate-y mineral fruit jumps from the glass competing with some brisk acidity and exotic orange flecks in the finish. A wonderful food wine you can serve with sushi, pork or Thai food.Tasted: 12 November 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:ON | $15.00 | 750ml | |
