The Ned Pinot Noir 2012
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandMarlborough's deep clay loams are home to the Ned Pinot vines. The wine is made in small open top fermentors and aged in 500L French oak puncheons for 8 to 10 months. The nose is bright and aromatic with raspberry, spice and dried herbs predominating. The palate is similar with soft, juicy, fruit cherry berry flavours with a dusting of celery salt. Ready to drink with turkey or a simply prepared roast chicken.Tasted: 16 November 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:NS | $21.00 | 750ml | |
