Maverick Estate Winery Pinot Gris 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOak and pinot gris are not my favourite combination yet despite the butter and soft texture there is plenty to like about this wine. The depth of flavour, the pear fruit, the lees and a touch of minerality make it very food friendly. A solid effort in the heavier, richer style.
