Black Hills Nota Bene 2011

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNota Bene is anachronism of sorts. It sells out in moments and the price is hefty but I have never really fell in love with this herbaceous red that never quite offers up the stuff of cult wines despite it the lofty status among sommeliers and wine club fans alike. In 2011, it offers all the coolest of the vintage can offer with no shortage of dill, cassis, roasted tomatoes and resiny flavours throughout. The tannins management is under control and the textures are soft and slippery but this flavours are too cool for this cat.Tasted: 11 November 2013Tasted by: Prices:
