A blend of youthful red wines from the Cima Corgo, this spent a few years in oak vats to mellow. Full bodied and assertive, with a fiery grip around the sides to house the potent, sweet density. Sweet tobacco, cassis pie, candied plum, caramelized brown sugar to a very hot, peppery finish. This is not shy, and best enjoyed with a pairing equally intense, like rum raisin pie or chocolate torte.
