Chateau Angelus 2010
Saint Émilion, Libourne, Bordeaux, FranceSmoky, vanilla, coconut, vanilla, plum jam, lifted, tobacco, black cherry jam, spicy, menthol, earthy, barnyard, cedar and olive aromas. Full, rich, round, suave, warm, grainy tannic palate. Big coffee, vanilla, pain grille, coconut, orange peel, black cherry, blackberry, cedar, tobacco flavours. Very blowsy, warm, jammy and oaky now, this has good finesse and intensity but needs 7-10 years to integrate. Perhaps even on the over ripe side? The blend is 55/45 merlot/cabernet franc.Tasted: 12 October 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $688.00 | 750ml |
