Summerhill Pyramid Winery Alive Organic White 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI've been impressed by the turn around in quality at Summerhill Pyramid Winery and as the property transitions from, organic to biodynamic the wines just get better. There a fresh fruity nose here with notes pear, white peach and citrus peel that reflects the 70/15/5/5/3/2 blend of pinot gris/pinot blanc/gewürztraminer/viognier/chardonnay and muscat. Interestingly the wines bright acidity is matched by some residual sugar that results from halting the ferment thus producing a refreshing white with only 10 per alcohol.
