Agrelo District, Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaFrom a fabulous vintage in Agrelo look for a floral, plum jam, barnyard, spicy, black berry, vanilla nose with savoury liquorice tobacco notes. The palate is rich and dry with fine acidity and some grainy young tannin. More liquorice, black plum, pepper, blueberry, spicy, vanilla, coffee flavours flecked with poultry spice. A bit rustic but with fine concentration and intensity with youthful tannins to shed over the next 2-4 years.
