Chateau Suduiraut 2010

Sauternes, Graves, Bordeaux, FranceFrom a great vintage for Sauternes this Suduiraut is a star. Big nectarine, mandarin orange, vanilla, spicy, floral nose flecked with honey, lanolin, grapefruit and egg yolk aromas. Very rich, fat, unctuous but with a lifted juicy character, excellent acidity and an intense palate with good acidity. Honey, baked nectarine, spicy mandarin orange, mango, vanilla, floral, cooked grapefruit flavours. Long, full, elegant but warm with excellent fruit and length. It may not age gracefully but it will be amongst the best of the vintage and offers fruit intensity without quite as much botrytis as 2009.Tasted: 25 September 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
