Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPouring a dark peach hue, this is a dry and pithy pinot noir fizz, sourced from Summerland's Heckmann Family Organic Vineyard. Whole cluster pressed, this had a dosage of still red wine before resting on the lees for at least three years in bottle. Cranberry, rhubarb, black cherry rides a frisky, toasty and fruit-forward palate, one that lingers with mandarin, smoked stones and raspberry. Gentle sweetness (less than 9 g/l) makes this approachable. I can't taste this without thinking of turkey and cranberry.Tasted: 14 July 2017Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLovely dry style. Clean and fresh with subtle strawberries on the nose and palate. The finish is equally balanced and crisp with flecks of apricot and toast. A fun summer afternoon pink or you could pair it up with chicken or even a fresh piece of goat cheese. The wine spent 18 months en tirage (ageing on spent yeast for complexity and texture). Good value.Tasted: 02 August 2013Tasted by: Prices:
