Fontodi Chianti Classico 2009

Tuscany, ItalyOpen ripe smoky, black cherry, compost aromas with bits of mint. The attack is round and rich with perfect acidity and ripe full flavoured fruit. Look for black cherry jam, pepper, liquorice and just a hint of spicy, summer sausage and the illusion of minerality. Drink now with quail or sausage pasta or hold for three to five years. Organic too.Tasted: 02 August 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
