Once winemaker Susana Balbo selects the best barrels it gets 40 days of maceration before its racked to new French oak barrels twice over 18 months. Look for a deep black cherry colour. Black cherry jam, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, cedar, balsamic, savoury aromas. Rich, full, round, fresh palate with light tannins. Cedar, peppery, black cherry jam, chocolate, vanilla, balsamic, prune and leather flavours. Youthful and warm, this needs 2-4 years further to round out.
