Bandol, Provence, Sud de France, FranceBig liquorice, earthy, roast meat, barnyard, prune, smoky, black cherry and tar aromas. Full, rich, dry palate with some chunky tannins. Smoky herb, licorice root, prune, leather, peppery, black cherry jam, resin, vanilla and coffee flavours. Warm and rustic but has good intensity and length. Needs a few years to integrate.
