Angove Long Row Riesling 2013
South Australia, AustraliaThis is good example of the kind of wine that could lift Australia out of the doldrums. Fresh delicious well-made and not shiraz. What a start. The fruit comes of the massive Nanya Vineyard in the Riverland from an original heritage clone planted it in the 1970s. The fruit is night picked and the result is a delicious, bright fresh riesling bright floral citrus and tropical flavours mixed with lemon lime and dash of talcum powder. Fabulous with grilled fish or most pan-Asians dishes in Vancouver.Tasted: 30 July 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $17.00 | 750ml | estimated retail price |
