Pokolbin, Hunter, New South Wales, AustraliaI'm a big fan of young sémillon with its fresh nettle/grass grapefruit green fruit aromas and flavours. In this case the attack is electric with tastes of lime, green fig, grapefruit, mint and quince. The acidity is upper bright and carries the finish begging for food. This will fatten up and turn the corner in two or three years in bottle to become a whole other wine but for the moment it is vibrant and deliciously electric.
