Upper Bench Zweigelt 2011
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNaramata red nose of dried herbs, liquorice cedar and roasted tomato. The attack is rich and glossy with soft, fine-grained tannins with some fresh acidity poking out the back. The palate is a mix of resiny, youthful red fruits and dried spice. This will need some time to gather itself in bottle but you could easily serve it this summer with grilled lamb chops. A good start.Tasted: 10 May 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA stores, private liquor stores |
