Rioja, SpainAltos de Lanzaga is tempranillo Rodriguez-style. Hand selected from site to barrel employing the village concept - the blend is always better than the parts. The fruit is grown on 45 cm of red soils over chalk. Look for a super intense flavour profile from its spicy floral, smoky, liquorice red fruit aromas to its delicate savoury/garrigue smoky tobacco stony red fruit flavours. Rich and warm but with excellent acidity this will repay a decade or more of cellar time.
