P+S Post Scriptum de Chryseia 2009
Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalThe second label from Chryseia Post Scriptum opens with a peppery, dried herb, tobacco, floral black cherry nose flecked with curry, coffee and vanilla notes. The attack is round and dry, the palate elegant with fine-grained tannins. Juicy black cherry, plum fruit flavours with chocolate, vanilla, savoury, poultry spice and liquorice flavours with a bit of dried fig and tobacco. Good intensity and balance to drink now but should improve over the next few years. Fine effort.Tasted: 02 May 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:AB | $35.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
