Miguel Torres Manso de Velasco Old Vines 2009
Valle del Curicó, Region del Valle Central, ChileSavoury, bay leaf, chocolate, cedar, cassis, 'boldo' (wild herbs) nose with dried tobacco, leather and coffee aromas. The entry is round, rich and dry with some youthful, astringent tannins. Cedar, cassis, bay leaf, tobacco, coffee, blackberry, resin, liquorice and savoury, leather flavours dominate the palate. Good concentration and intensity but will need three to five years to round out the rusticity. If you open it now serve it with a T-bone steak.Tasted: 25 May 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:MB | $41.00 | 750ml | |
