JoieFarm Gewurztraminer 2012

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSimple straight-up winemaking was employed to make a clean, correct gewürztraminer. You get the rose petal and litchi aromas up front and fairly brisk acidic mid-palate with citrus flavours flecked with honey and orange. There's 8 grams of sugar per litre here but you hardly notice it in the back end. In fact the wine finishes with a hint of Okanagan sage and a touch of bitterness. Ready to drink try it with a yellow Thai curry.Tasted: 03 May 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
