M. Chapoutier Beaurevoir Tavel 2012
Tavel, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceChapoutier's Tavel is grenache grown over chalky gravels and red clays. It's a bleed after 24-36 hours of maceration. The wine is briefly aged in vats and bottled in spring. Look for an exuberant cherry berry nose, a smooth, soft-ish attack with spicy, rhubarb, dried herbs and strawberry flavours. Fine intensity and length with just enough weight to make it very food versatile.Tasted: 16 April 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $27.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Pacific Wines & Spirits |
