Tarapacá Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon Etiqueta Negra 2010
Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileOpen boldo, blackcurrant, jalapeno, bay leaf nose. The attack is substantial with dense full chalky tannins and mid-palate weight. Black label comes off five or six vineyards in the Maipo and is picked for concentration and length with elegance. Look for a silky, sweet, black liquorice palate with fine length and finesse. Should age easily a decade. Almost all cabernet sauvignon with just a small amount of cabernet franc.Tasted: 19 March 2013Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Grady Wine Marketing |
