Laroche Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2007

Chablis, Burgundy, FranceDomaine Laroche owns 1.12 hectares of the 26.33 hectare Les Clos Vineyard. This Grand Cru is fermented 35% in oak and 65% in stainless steel and goes through 100% malolactic fermentation. In 2007 the summer was rainy and cold but the harvest was dry. Les Clos is always well structured with an intense nose of ripe apples and honey with a whack of minerality, wet stone and chalk. The flavours are equally persistent and fruity with more honey and firm acidity. Superb with oysters.Tasted: 07 March 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
