Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz 2008
Clare Valley, South Australia, AustraliaThe Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz turned ten in 2008. Often described as opulent and a benchmark for Clare Valley we found the 2008 typically swashbuckling with fairly dense black fruit and soft tannins. Coffee, sweet blackberry/blueberry fruit with spice, dark chocolate and smoky mocha add to its hedonistic style. You can drink this wine now or over the next five years. We suggest grill lamb would be an excellent pairing. Oracle started off as a single vineyard wine known as 'Mort's Block' and recently was added to the prestigious Langton Classification honouring exceptional wine sin Australia.Tasted: 07 March 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $70.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Landmark Selections |
