Bartier-Scholefield B-S Rosé Table Wine 2010
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlmost a year and half after I first tasted this wine it remains fresh and clean under screwcap. This rosé is made from the vineyard up using fully ripened gamay grapes. The style is light and refreshing with bracing acidity and earthy, candied red fruit flavours perhaps flattening out a touch with age. A wonderful food wine it marks a new and exciting level of sophistication for this style of wine in the B.C.
