Rich, full, round, dry, slightly tannic palate with medium concentration. Meaty, coffee, peppery, cedar, tobacco, chocolate, cassis, herbal, earthy, black cherry and orange peel flavours. Good effort for the vintage and beautifully exhibits the addition of cabernet franc. Needs 2-4 years as it's still a bit chunky and warm on the finish.
