Napa Valley, California, United StatesImpressive showy peppery, chocolate, vanilla nose with black olive, cassis jam, prune plum, floral, game aromas. The attack is big and rich but with suave tannins. Black cherry, cassis jam, chocolate, tobacco, cedar, liquorice, coffee, resin, smoky, savoury, dried herb flavours. The finish still has some dry tannins to shed but there is fine balance and flavour intensity.
