Napa Valley, California, United StatesRich meaty, saddle leather, tobacco, barnyard nose with flecks of resin, coffee, prune, cooked blackberry and red liquorice aromas. Round, fresh, juicy palate with light tannins and strong red liquorice, cassis resin, meaty, leather, blackberry, molasses and tobacco flavours. Solid finesse but a strange representation of the cabernet variety that finishes rustic. Best with roasted meat entrees.
