Rodney Strong Chardonnay Chalk Hill 2010
Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe light, white ash soils of the Chalk Hills appellation are home to this top end Rodney Strong chardonnay. The palate is fresh by California standards with an attractive creamy honeyed, butterscotch character but not over the top. The fruit is a mix of sweet Golden Delicious apple with a touch of citrus soaked ground hazelnuts. Lobster would be the perfect match but crab or halibut would be equally fine.Tasted: 19 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:ON | $27.00 | 750ml | |
