Rocky Creek Pinot Gris 2011

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2011 boasts a light gold colour that previews a ripe nose laced with honey, pear, baked apple, litchi and butter aromas. The attack is dry and fresh but the palate is rich with pear skin, ripe apple, quince, litchi, chalky/lemon flavours. Attractive ripe fruit and a very solid effort with intensity. Well done and all with a distinctly Vancouver Island bent.Tasted: 03 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
