ReVersanti Barolo 2007
La Morra, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyTea leaf, tobacco, earthy, tar and prune aromas mixed with black cherry and smoky, cedar, and floral notes. The attack is fresh and dry with a somewhat tannic palate but full with strawberry jam, tarry, cedar, tobacco, rooty, black tea and dried herb flavours. Youthful, dry tannins to dissipate over the next 4-7 years but solid fruit. Needs time. Good value.Tasted: 17 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $37.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Empson (Canada) Inc. |
