Pirramimma Shiraz 2009

McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaIntense black cherry, blackberry jam nose laced with pepper, liquorice, vanilla, meaty, savoury aromas. The attack is fresh, the palate suave with light tannins and a hint of sweetness/ripeness of fruit. Very ripe blackberry, prunes and peppery, vanilla with bits of liquorice and chocolate. Lots of ripe, sweet fruit with a very warm alcoholic finish. A monster style best served with a grilled leg of lamb.Tasted: 16 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
