Henry's Drive Vignerons Pillar Box Red 2010

Padthaway, South Australia, AustraliaThe Pillar Box Red, named after the postal boxes in Oz, is a 68/27/5 mix of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and merlot from 40 separate blocks of Padthaway vineyards. The wine is aged for a year in Mostly French oak. Look for a juicy style with dried herbs and mint mixed with liquorice, pepper cedar and blueberry fruit flavours. It is a very friendly, soft, dense, fruity style that should have wide appeal. Try this with beef or lamb kabobs.Tasted: 01 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
