Fetzer Crimson Winemaker's Favourite Red Blend 2010
California, United StatesThe new Crimson Red is a blend of syrah, zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon and petite sirah that on the surface is fresh and well balanced. It appears more zin-like than anything without the alcohol. I'm not going to say its super sweet but it is hardly dry. Any numbers of fruits are up for grab here including raspberries and blueberries with that spicy brambly, sweet thing going on in the finish along with a poke of acidity.
