Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceFaiveley suggest that Aux Chaignots is more Romanée than Nuits in style. It is fleshier than Damodes but not as long - more shoulder less length. The nose is an alluring mix of smoke, red fruits and some youthful oak. The attack is weighty but balanced with good power and length and more red fruits with spice and dried herb highlights.
