Domaine Faiveley Mercurey 2009

Mercurey, Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, FranceAmazing quality in 2009. The nose is mix of light compost, raspberry, cedar, barnyard and red liquorice aromas that meld into a dry, fresh, round, elegant palate. The palate has a deep, denser sweet fruit character flecked with raspberry, strawberry jam, pepper flavours with some compost on the finish. You can drink this now and over the next 2 years.Tasted: 19 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
