It is round, full, juicy, elegant and smooth on the palate with vanilla, smoky tobacco leaf, pepper, raspberry jam, orange, caraway, liquorice and tea flavours. Fine flavour intensity, texture and length with some elegance. A super effort. The Davis Bynum pinot is a mix of 115, 777, 667, 114, 113, Pommard and 2A grown on the gravelly loams soils of the Santa Rosa Plain in the Russian River Valley.
