Cherry Pie Stanly Ranch Pinot Noir 2010

Carneros, Sonoma County, California, United StatesA much better wine than its kitschy name. Smoky, vanilla, liquorice, chocolate, cherry jam nuances mix with orange peel, tobacco leaf, pepper, forest floor and spicy aromas. Rich, full, round, smooth, juicy palate with sweet vanilla, coffee, spicy, tobacco leaf, carrot top, black cherry, licorice and tea flavours. Very ripe, warm rich hedonistic style with lots of oak but very good fruit and finesse. Drink now with pork or turkey.Tasted: 22 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
