Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceThe white la Gardine is an 80/15/5 mix of roussanne, clairette and bourboulenc aged 10 months in new barriques. The colour is light gold the nose an advanced mix of guava, orange peel, honey and ginger with floral, nutty, vanilla butter, honeysuckle notes. The attack is round and oily with candied ginger, butter, guava, baked pear flavours with bits of quince and cinnamon.
