Brunel de la Gardine Côtes du Rhône 2010
Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceDry, fresh, round, slightly tannic palate with smoky herb, prune, black cherry, peppery, liquorice root, smoky, tobacco, black olive and garrigue flavours. There is fine intensity and acidity here along with youth but it will be best after another year or so in bottle to soften up, Serve now with robust meat dishes such as grilled lamb or duck. Good value.Tasted: 29 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
