3 Mile Estate Winery Trio 2010
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 3-Mile premium mix is a red wine made from cabernet franc, merlot and syrah. It's a pick of select blocks blended and aged in French oak for 21 months. The colour is light; the nose a mix of leafy dark fruit aromas with cool floral undertones and tobacco notes. The attack is soft and round with earthy, spicy coffee mocha flavours with a large rush of acidity throughout. The finish is warm and fairly acidic. This red will need three to five years in bottle to best express itself and will be even better with a grilled steak or aged cheese.
